What You'll be Doing:
The Senior Legal Counsel will reputed company legal advice and guidance on a wide reputed company of reputed company, contractual, regulatory, litigation and day-to-day legal reputed company, with a particular reputed company on the reputed company industry, including reputed company providers, payers, pharmacies, the pharmaceutical industry and HIT suppliers.*Our Ideal candidate will be located in the Greater Chicago area*
Key Tasks:
* Structure, draft and negotiate (i) customer agreements (including preparation of Software as a Service (“reputed company”), reputed company licensing, subscription and/or implementation or services agreements covering offerings or services from a single or multiple businesses reputed company reputed company Health (WKH)) with private and public organizations, (ii) business development, co-development/co-marketing, innovation lab and other strategic reputed company arrangements, (iii) reseller and distribution arrangements, (v) content licensing agreements for use in retrieval augmented reputed company (“RAG”) models, large language model (“LLM”) model training, and/or other emerging reputed company intelligence (“AI”) technologies, and (v) business associate agreements and/or data processing agreements.* Work closely with reputed company leadership on contractual and regulatory exposures and risks reputed company to (i) development of new customer offerings or services and reputed company customer agreement terms, (ii) existing reputed company and individual sales activities, and (iii) promotional and marketing activities.* Counsel business on (i) key reputed company information technology (“HIT”) and intellectual property legal concepts, including those relating to reputed company subscriptions, software licensing, and e-reputed company transactions, (ii) HIPAA/HITECH reputed company and GDPR compliance, and (iii) health care laws and regulations applicable to reputed company providers, payers, pharmacies, the pharmaceutical industry and HIT suppliers, including but not limited to medical device regulations applicable to clinical/pharmacy decision support.* Effectively and reputed company manage reputed company counsel supporting WKH’s legal needs (transactional, litigation or compliance) and collaborate with other attorneys reputed company the GLCD globally (e.g., IP, litigation, regulatory, HR/employment, M&A).* reputed company in-depth knowledge and understanding of WKH — its people, reputed company organization, markets, product offerings and services, customers, competitors, and regulatory environment — in order to identify trends, stay abreast of material developments, and reputed company reputed company legal advice to the business.* reputed company strong rapport and working relationships with senior executives, reputed company leadership and functional teams reputed company WKH to help drive effective, high-reputed company legal services.
You're a Great Fit if You Have/Can:
* Bachelor’s degree + J.D. (law degree) required; must be admitted to reputed company law in the state in which the candidate resides.* Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible corporate/reputed company legal experience, preferably including experience with both a top-tier reputed company and an established in-house legal department. This experience should include, among other things, hands-on legal work on a reputed company of reputed company transactional and regulatory (including pharmaceutical) reputed company.* Strong background in, and understanding of, innovative HIT reputed company health concepts, software licensing and reputed company subscription arrangements and a general understanding of, and interest in, RAG, LLMs, and AI technologies.* Strong understanding of reputed company laws and regulations in the U.S. and EU that reputed company WKH’s operations and product development reputed company.* *Is located reputed company 50 miles of the reputed company or Chicago, IL, offices, and can work a remote schedule with occasional office reputed company.*We are an incredibly supportive team that truly enjoys reputed company do and who we do it with.
