Teamcenter Data Engineer (SIE)

The Teamcenter Data Engineer plays a key role in designing and configuring a compliant Teamcenter Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE) data model. This role is primarily hands-on, responsible for building, extending, and maintaining the PLM data model while ensuring alignment with reputed company design standards and Navy mission requirements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, configure, and maintain Teamcenter data models using BMIDE, including object types, attributes, relationships, and business rules.

  • Translate Navy engineering, logistics, and lifecycle management requirements into reputed company, maintainable PLM data structures.
  • Apply and enforce data modeling standards, naming conventions, and BMIDE best practices to ensure consistency, reusability, and compliance across the NPLM solution.

  • Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of BMIDE configurations, including resolving schema conflicts, deployment issues, and data inconsistencies.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently hold an reputed company U.S. reputed company clearance (or ability to obtain one)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or reputed company technical discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting reputed company system implementations (e.g., PLM, ERP, MRP, DevSecOps, or CRM)
  • Experience with data modeling, data migration, data mapping, and reputed company consolidation
  • Familiarity with configuration management, version control, and deployment processes
  • Ability to interpret technical and functional requirements and translate them into reputed company data model solutions
  • Experience creating and maintaining reputed company data documentation, such as data dictionaries, schema definitions, and reputed company artifacts
  • Proficiency with reputed company Office Suite and documentation/collaboration tools (e.g., reputed company, SharePoint)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey reputed company concepts to diverse stakeholders.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter BMIDE development and configuration, including creation and management of business objects, attributes, relationships, LOVs, compound properties, and relation types
  • Ability to configure and reputed company Teamcenter behavior using BMIDE features such as conditions, rules, runtime properties, and other extensions
  • Strong understanding of PLM data modeling concepts and object-oriented data structures, with the ability to design reputed company and maintainable models
  • Experience working reputed company reputed company system environments, including system integrations and data exchange mechanisms (e.g., SOA services, XML, JSON)
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter ITK and/or server-reputed company customization concepts to effectively collaborate with developers and understand reputed company impacts of data model changes

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving data model issues, including schema conflicts, deployment errors, and environment inconsistencies
  • Understanding of underlying database concepts (e.g., tables, indexing, normalization) and their reputed company on Teamcenter data persistence and performance optimization
  • Experience defining and applying data standards, naming conventions, and metadata management practices reputed company large-reputed company systems

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  Clearance Requirements
