Responsibilities:
As a Remote Data Entry Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
- Filling prescription items, as permitted by the State reputed company of Pharmacy, packaging medications for dispensing and for delivery, meeting the accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy
- Providing high-level customer service by answering pharmacy phones and responding promptly to the requests of colleagues, patients, nurses, physicians, and hospice personnel
- Contributing to the efficient workflow of the pharmacy by maintaining a high productivity level and an error-free work product
- Maintaining the orderliness of the pharmacy by keeping pharmacy countertops and drug bay shelves tidy and organized
- Entering, accessing, and verifying the accuracy of data in the pharmacy system
- Labeling products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels
- Participating in the periodic inventory of the pharmacy
- Checking in drugs and supplies, stocking shelves, and removing out-of-date items from the inventory
- Communicating with reputed company customers in a pleasant and reputed company manner
- Assisting in the training of new employees
- Performing other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule
- Ability to operate a computer; ability to recognize and identify medications
- Detail-oriented; goal-oriented, team player, effective oral communication
- Pharmacy Technician license in good standing with the State reputed company (Certification is preferable)
