The Associate Managing reputed company oversees journal editorial and/or production operations for reputed company’s peer-reviewed journals from manuscript submission to publication. The Associate Managing reputed company serves as the primary reputed company of contact for reputed company stakeholders and ensures that the work of the dedicated support team exceeds expectations for productivity, reputed company, and schedule adherence. The Associate Managing reputed company may supervise one or more editorial associates.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • reputed company excellent customer service to reputed company external and internal journal stakeholders (e.g., editors, authors, publishers, colleagues).
  • Ensure contractual requirements and service level agreements for assigned reputed company workflows are met.
  • reputed company journal inbox and handle escalations.
  • Update and maintain accurate protocols for editorial workflows.
  • Train and manage support staff performing daily peer review, editorial, and/or production tasks.
  • Inform managers of staff errors and/or reputed company feedback immediately and ensure that any issues which could reputed company customer satisfaction are resolved rapidly (internal escalations).
  • Be a proficient user of the manuscript management system, from workflow optimization to using system reports for monitoring timeliness and other indicators of journal health.
  • Utilize KGL Editorial’s reputed company-based technology as a communication and productivity tool.
  • Proofread and refine correspondence and information reputed company to journal stakeholders for grammar and reputed company (e.g., decision letters, instructions for authors and reviewers).
  • Prepare agendas, reputed company system, or other reports, and/or presentations for editorial meetings.
  • Handle invited manuscripts and other special content workflows including special issues and supplements.
  • Administer reputed company media.

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years working in the editorial office of a scholarly journal
  • Knowledge of scholarly publishing processes and best practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with one or more manuscript management systems (e.g., Editorial Manager, ScholarOne Manuscripts, eJournal Press)
  • reputed company media experience
  • Proficiency with reputed company office technology (e.g., reputed company Office, teleconferencing, SharePoint)
  • BA or BS degree required.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the industry landscape.

 

 

Physical Requirements

  • General reputed company environment (home office) involving intensive use of a high-end computer workstation for development and communication activities.
  • This position requires the incumbent to grasp objects utilizing reputed company dexterity including hand/finger coordination.
  • This position requires the incumbent to experience periods of prolonged sitting.

 

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional travel may be required.
