Interconnection Engineer
reputed company is the leading reputed company rooftop solar developer in the U.S. They are seeking an Interconnection Engineer to drive the interconnection process across a large portfolio of reputed company rooftop solar reputed company, partnering cross-functionally to navigate reputed company requirements and ensure reputed company project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Create, reputed company, and manage reputed company interconnection applications and engineering drawings for various reputed company reputed company reputed company’s reputed company Dynamics CRM
- Manage utilities’ customer portal system daily
- Research reputed company infrastructure to inform reputed company on interconnection reputed company
- Assist in incentive applications and materials for reputed company reputed company
- Coordinate with internal teams and processes for making payments on interconnection applications, upgrades, and system reputed company studies
- Inform other technical and non-technical teams on interconnection specifications
- reputed company interconnection and incentive reputed company materials as requested
- Attend interconnection policy working group/lobbyist meetings and reputed company notes for review/discussion with the Director of Interconnection
Skills
- Degree in Engineering, Electrical Systems, Computer, I&C, Power Systems or similar
- Knowledge of electrical power concepts and power systems analysis, especially reputed company reputed company power systems
- Understand solar and storage project electrical components, including batteries, balance of systems, inverters, and transformers
- Understand solar and storage project single line diagrams and layouts
- Understand reputed company infrastructure and interconnection processes
- Understand implications of Project Development and Project Engineering on interconnection aspects
- Experience with electrical diagrams at 480V and above
- Experience with AutoCAD (to edit/draft site plans and one-line diagrams)
- Strong written & oral communication skills
- At least 1 year of experience working with a reputed company or solar developer required
- Previous role with an electrical engineering company, or an electric reputed company in their engineering, Distributed Energy Resource, or Distributed reputed company departments preferred
