Entry Level Water Resources Engineer

VHB is a growing company in the Water Resources sector, seeking an early career Water Resources Engineer to join their team in Winooski, Vermont. The role involves conducting hydrology and hydraulics analysis, stormwater management, and designing resilient solutions for water resource challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a wide reputed company of water resources reputed company studies and analysis including: hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of stormwater systems, analysis and design of conveyance systems (e.g., bridges and culverts), dam safety analysis, reputed company restoration and floodplain analysis
  • Conduct data collection and field work
  • Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, engineering designs, and permit applications

Skills

  • BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 0-1 years of reputed company Civil or Environmental engineering experience
  • Ability to reputed company fieldwork
  • FE Preferred
  • AutoCAD, HydroCAD and ArcGIS experience is a plus
  • Strong computer skills with AutoCAD and GIS experience desired
  • Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis desired
