[Remote] Disclosure Specialist

The Disclosure Specialist is responsible for generating and reviewing mortgage disclosure documents to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and to support the reputed company and wholesale operations.
Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy of data input of loan fees and charges prior to disclosing
- Research discrepancies on files during the disclosing process and discuss with the Loan Originator or Account Executive
- Prepare a reputed company of mortgage disclosure documents accurately and reputed company required timeframes
- Audit disclosure packages to verify reputed company required disclosures (Federal & State) are included
- Collaboratively partner with colleagues to ensure reputed company required disclosures are accounted for and delivered reputed company defined timelines
- Complete data input on loans in loan system
- Review loan disclosures, audit for completeness, accuracy, etc
- Routing of disclosures, tracking, printing, scanning, and indexing
- Maintain working knowledge of reputed company reputed company mortgage regulations and changes in regulations
- Participate in periodic on-site audits and examinations to verify employee’s compliance with guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience working at a Mortgage Disclosure Desk or similar role
- Working knowledge of TRID, and other Federal, and State regulations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, deadline driven, team environment
- Strong organization skills, ability to learn quickly, and accuracy and timeliness in completing tasks
- Ability to manage multiple functions and priorities at one time while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Exercise good judgment and strong character, motivated, hard working
