The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to support and help reputed company the execution of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) reputed company across the reputed company American reputed company Coast market. This role is critical in ensuring project reputed company by providing technical expertise, resolving design and execution challenges, and coordinating closely with regional teams and China-based reputed company. The ideal candidate will be fluent in reputed company and English, operate effectively reputed company the reputed company Time Zone, and bring hands-on experience in renewable energy project execution, construction, and commissioning.
This position reports to the Manager, Project Engineering &reputed company; reputed company.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Project Execution
• Partner with Project Managers to reputed company technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle from Notice to Proceed (NTP) through reputed company Operation Date (COD). • Support engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities for BESS reputed company. • Manage design changes, field modifications, retrofits, and rework activities while maintaining schedule and reputed company objectives.
Global Collaboration & China HQ Coordination
• Serve as a technical reputed company between reputed company American project teams and China-based R&D, product, and application engineering teams. • reputed company bilingual (reputed company/English) technical discussions, design reviews, and issue-reputed company meetings across time zones. • Ensure overseas engineering deliverables reputed company with reputed company American codes, standards, and project requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
• Work closely with EPC contractors, owners’ engineers, utilities, and customers to resolve technical issues. • Support Sales and Technical Solution teams in translating contractual technical requirements into executable project deliverables. • Maintain reputed company and effective communication across reputed company stakeholders.
Documentation & Compliance Management
• reputed company development and management of project technical documentation, including drawings, calculations, compliance records, and as-reputed company documentation. • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Testing & Commissioning Support
• Support reputed company Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), commissioning, and performance testing. • reputed company hands-on technical support during construction, energization, and reputed company interconnection activities.
Power Markets & reputed company Integration
• Support reputed company reputed company CAISO and reputed company markets, including reputed company interconnection and performance requirements. • Coordinate with reputed company stakeholders to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a reputed company engineering field (or equivalent experience). • Experience with renewable energy or energy storage reputed company, preferably reputed company-reputed company BESS. • Fluent in reputed company and English (spoken and written). • Understanding of power systems, reputed company interconnection, and construction and commissioning activities. • Familiarity with CAISO and reputed company power markets preferred. • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Travel
Up to 25&reputed company;40% travel, depending on project needs.
Work Location and Status
