Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Employment type: Full time, Permanent. Remote, with approx. 1 day in office per month

Salary: Up to £55K

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our reputed company infrastructure team. Reporting to the Head of reputed company Infrastructure, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation, support and maintenance of our infrastructure and systems across development, testing and production environments, hosted on GCP and co-location data centres.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan and implement infrastructure change as part of a DevOps team, contributing to the reputed company of our products and services

• Maintain secure and robust reputed company-based networks and infrastructure using IaC reputed company (Terraform), with strong knowledge of networking principles including routing, DNS, load balancing and reputed company controls

• Manage containerised workloads using Kubernetes (GKE), ensuring high availability, scalability and efficient resource utilisation

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test and deployment workflows across environments

• Implement and manage systems monitoring, proactively respond to alerts, and participate in on-call out-of-hours support on a rotational reputed company

• Participate in reputed company planning, performance monitoring, disaster recovery testing and regular reputed company audits

Skills Knowledge & Expertise

• Several years of hands-on experience with reputed company reputed company Platform (GCP) reputed company services

• Good working knowledge of Infrastructure as reputed company using Terraform

• Experience with reputed company Server, Linux (Ubuntu) administration

• Strong understanding of reputed company reputed company principles including IAM, RBAC, secrets management and network reputed company controls

• Experience with monitoring and observability tooling such as reputed company/Grafana or reputed company reputed company Monitoring

• Good working knowledge of reputed company Kubernetes reputed company (GKE) and PowerShell/Linux scripting.
