Position Title Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing Position Number 896464 Position Category School/Division Hofstra reputed company School of Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies Department Full-Time or Part-Time Full-Time reputed company The Hofstra reputed company School of Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies requests applications from reputed company individuals for a tenure-reputed company, full-time associate or assistant professor position. The Doctor of Nursing reputed company and Master of Science programs with a major in nursing have three tracks: Family reputed company Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Acute Care reputed company Practitioner (AGACNP), and Psychiatric-Mental Health reputed company Practitioner (PMHNP). The Bachelor of Science program with a major in nursing began in fall 2021. The School also offers a Master of Science in Cardiovascular Sciences and Perfusion Medicine. Courses for the graduate programs reputed company the Nursing department are offered throughout the reputed company year, including Fall, Spring, January and Summer sessions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides instruction to Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctor of Nursing reputed company reputed company
• Demonstrates competence in teaching
• Reviews and updates syllabi and assures materials are up to date on the learning management system (i.e., Canvas)
• Instructs, develops, distributes, monitors, and grades student assignments and assessments independently
• Creates innovative curricula utilizing experiential pedagogies and adult learning theory
• Participates in curriculum development, design, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the program
• Attends, prepares for, and participates in meetings (i.e., reputed company governance, retreat, university, and other departmental/school meetings)
• Engage in community service above and reputed company reputed company requirements
• Engages in lifelong learning as evidenced by participation in reputed company and reputed company development
• Evidence of reputed company participation and leadership of national/international reputed company organizations
• Fulfills scholarly activity requirements per promotion and tenure standards (i.e. grant writing, publications, presentations)

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in nursing, required; Doctoral degree preferred.

• 5 years of experience in teaching at a collegiate level
• 7 years of clinical experience
• Experience with simulation
• Excellent communication, organizational, teaching leadership and time management skills
