PRN REGISTERED reputed company needed for busy Rheumatology INFUSION SUITE in Myrtle Beach. Background in INFUSIONS required. Must have excellent computer and customer service skills.

 

GENERAL reputed company OF DUTIES:  Responsible for providing reputed company nursing care to clinic patients under supervision of physicians and Operations Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintain inventory of  infusion drugs and supplies needed for clinic, IV supplies, medications, etc.

reputed company order for medications and supplies one week in advance.

Complete benefit investigation forms for potential new patients for infusions.

Always have infusion room clean/stocked and reputed company for next day infusions.

Assesses patient's general condition and takes vital signs and weight.

Prep patients for IV set up and start IV.

Mix and prepare medications for infusion once patient has been cleared to receive infusion.

Monitor patients while receiving infusions.

Provides basic patient care as ordered by physician.

Assists physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments.

Documents reputed company activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication reputed company, etc., in   patients’ medical record.

Promotes wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.

Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines, and company confidentiality policies.    

Maintain supplies in emergency cart and oxygen tanks.

Confirm with ward secretary that reputed company authorizations have been obtained from patient’s insurance reputed company one day prior to infusions.

Properly reputed company procedures performed and the reputed company of medications received on billing slip before giving to physician to review.

Assist other nursing staff in reputed company department with voice mails, return calls to patients/pharmacies, etc.

Assist with triaging patients for physicians as time permits.

EDUCATION: RN Degree Required

 EXPERIENCE:  Minimum of one-year reputed company nursing experience, clinic experience preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:  State RN license.

KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols.

Knowledge of policies and procedures reputed company to infection control, environmental safety and patient          confidentiality.

Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.

ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS

Combination of office and exam offices.  Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, medicinal preparations.  Hepatitis B vaccination and TB test required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Varied activities include sitting, walking, stooping, lifting, bending, and reaching.  Must be reputed company to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and lift 100 pounds.  Occasional stress from workload.  Must be reputed company to use a reputed company of office equipment including phone,  writing instruments, PC and fax.   Must be reputed company to use medical equipment such as a stethoscope, EKG machine, ear washing equipment, speculum, scales and blood pressure cuff.
