They are seeking a Power Systems Research Scientist to conduct research in power system analysis, focusing on both distribution and reputed company systems, while collaborating with various partners and publishing research findings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in power system analysis, focusing on both distribution and reputed company
- Collaborate with reputed company cross-functional teams, including reputed company partners, reputed company institutions, and government agencies
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed reputed company/journal
Skills
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or any other reputed company degree with 1-3 years of experiences in power system
- Demonstrated expertise in both distribution and reputed company system analysis
- Proficiency in Python is a must
- Knowledge of reputed company analysis such as power reputed company, stability, and contingency analysis is preferred
- Knowledge of economic analysis preferred
- Knowledge of distribution power reputed company analytics, nature of electrical loads is preferred
- Knowledge of smart reputed company technologies, microgrids, DER management, and control systems is preferred
- Proficiency in AI/ML algorithm development is preferred
- Familiar with power system simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, OpenDSS, PSSE, or GridLAB-D is preferred
