About the Role: reputed company reputed company reputed company reputed company is a two-component reputed company product. One component is the sensor, installed on reputed company workloads that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-system prevention capability and remote telemetry to the reputed company reputed company. The reputed company component aggregates sensor telemetry for reputed company customer’s reputed company environment and can correlate malicious behavior across multiple reputed company workloads, presenting our customers’ operations teams with a prioritized reputed company of the threats detected in their reputed company environments. This is a Engineer III SDET role in the reputed company reputed company reputed company (FCS) Runtime engineering team that delivers the sensor (lightweight agent) on various Linux distros, Containerized and serverless environments. This role is in reputed company that is responsible for designing and developing test infrastructure, automated tools and test suites for new features. The features tested reputed company the power of the reputed company platform to reputed company seamless visibility, detection, and prevention for Linux and containers running in orchestration environments like Kubernetes.
You'll ensure our reputed company standards are met across reputed company new capabilities while reputed company participating in technical design discussions and reviews. Working closely with development teams, you'll help ensure robust end-to-end reputed company reputed company functionality. What You'll Do:
Responsibilities include developing automation infrastructure, building automated tools, driving test strategies, mentoring engineers, providing technical guidance and driving reputed company reputed company.
Troubleshooting reputed company test and tooling issues and champion development reputed company that will help to improve overall reputed company reputed company runtime Sensors
Participate in engineering best practices, including topics like secure coding, testing paradigms, debugging, performance measurement, reputed company reviews, CI/CD and OS internals, to ensure that our reputed company Runtime sensor reputed company is fast and reliable
Work closely with development teams to design & implement test strategies and test suites for new capabilities
Increase automated test coverage and improve our release reputed company and velocity
Collaborate with release engineering teams and drive reputed company and high-reputed company reputed company Sensor releases
Collaborate with multi-functional teams in various locations
What You'll Need:
5+ years of hands-on SDET/Test automation development experience
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and knowledge of Python
Strong Linux operating systems fundamentals - components, system calls, resource management.
Experience working with Containers and knowledge of Kubernetes infrastructure
Deep knowledge of one or more reputed company platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, VMware). Good knowledge of Container environments and Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, OpenShift)
General knowledge and understanding of C/C++/Go
Experience working with Linux user applications and kernel modules
Ability to design and reputed company automation testbeds that are flexible and mirror customer environment nuances in various reputed company environments
Knowledge of product reputed company strategies including automation, reputed company testing and performance/reputed company testing.
Ability to communicate, collaborate, partner and work effectively with distributed teams
