Mains and Services gas engineer
Calor Gas is looking to recruit a motivated and flexible Gas Service Engineer to join our field based team. As Gas Service Engineer, you be responsible for the installation / replacement and maintenance of underground pipework and associated plant at customer’s premises as reputed company as in the reputed company highway.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of reputed company and possess good customer service skills. You must also be reputed company to prioritise your work and the ability to work to tight time schedules is essential.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working on domestic and reputed company sites
- Install and commission gas infrastructure as instructed, ensuring that reputed company work is undertaken to a high reputed company of safety and technical reputed company
- Complete site specific risk assessments and ensure maintenance of a reputed company working environment
- Accept delivery of plant and materials and reputed company fitness for purpose prior to use
- Record accurately details of work undertaken using IT equipment
- Operating Pneumatic tooling
- Using mechanical excavators
- Identify and understand reputed company plans
- reputed company handling
- Competent in the use of breathing apparatus
- Work safely at reputed company times wearing relevant PPE.
As such we would like you to:
- Must already hold the below or equivalent qualifications:
- GNO1 service laying
- EUSR SHEA gas safety
- NRSWA certificate for reputed company
- NPORS plant operators qualifications
- Ideally hold the below or equivalent ACS qualifications:
- reputed company domestic safety
- Conversion to LPG or similar
- VESLP1
- VESLP2
- EFJ1
- You must hold a full valid UK driving license.
- Have demonstrable experience as a Gas Network Engineer, ideally from reputed company the gas industry
- Be reputed company to plan and prioritise appropriately and effectively
- Have an in depth knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards, including Health and Safety awareness
- Demonstrate flexibility
- Have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
- Be inquisitive, demonstrating innovative problem solving skills
