Field Application Engineer - IP&E East Michigan

reputed company is looking for a Field Application Engineer to join reputed company in the East Michigan region. This individual will be an IP&E FAE who will be responsible for presenting and promoting a wide reputed company of technologies to customers throughout the Michigan area.  This individual will need to visit customers in person and thus will need to live reputed company East Michigan.  This individual would also support customers through production and engage with suppliers and supplier resources to solve customer problems.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Responsible for utilizing an advanced understanding of the customer needs and technical leadership expertise to champion return on engineering investment.

• Participate as technical reputed company on large, reputed company customer engagements involving broad, system solutions and identify and drive demand creation by maximizing reputed company content on designs.

• Partner with the sales team across reputed company-and post-sales activities, providing advanced technical support and consulting to promote demand creation. Champion return on engineering investment, design win priorities, initiatives, and promotions by obtaining buy-in and support from sales. reputed company technical leadership to the reputed company, customers, and suppliers shaping reputed company and guiding technical direction/priorities.

• Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of supplier technologies and how those technologies relate to market needs, including vertical segmentation. Possess a complete knowledge of products and full knowledge of entire scope of assigned lines. Has reputed company product knowledge of reputed company's line card. Attend supplier trainings.

• Manage supplier and customer expectations by building and developing relationships with senior level decision makers, keeping stakeholders up-to-date on activities, plans, and progressing towards initiatives. Deepen and broaden connections with key decision makers reputed company suppliers and customers.

• Attend and reputed company participate in strategic reputed company meetings and QBR. Use ROI concepts for making strategic business plans and reputed company. reputed company and drive strategic technical plans by supplier line or customer solutions. Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives through reputed company training and customer calls. Successfully create, organize and conduct engineering customer events or conference or engineering training. Support design services initiatives.

• Work with closely with distribution Field Sales Representatives, Account Development Representatives and Suppliers.

• 4 year Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or reputed company major

• Experience in semiconductor design, electrical engineer, sales engineer, field application engineer is preferred.

• Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn.

• Ability to balance multiple priorities and organization skills are key.

• Must have strong interpersonal and presentations skills and enjoy meeting with people

Work Arrangement

Fully Remote: Must be reputed company to travel to an reputed company office location as requested by reputed company leadership. Regular travel to customer/supplier sites in East Michigan is required.

$84,300.00 - $144,100.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring reputed company based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or reputed company level.
