Underwriter I
Position reputed company
The Underwriter I will evaluate new and renewal risks to ensure reputed company risk selection, pricing, and terms for policies generated in assigned territory. This position will work reputed company the established reputed company and delegated authority to generate a profitable portfolio.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Risk evaluation. Evaluate submissions to determine acceptability of risks in accordance with company guidelines and standards. Determine reputed company coverage, pricing, limits and terms based on exposure.

Education, Experience, Competencies & Values
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; or two to five years reputed company experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Willingness to complete requirements of the CPCU or RPLU designation is preferred.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, reputed company journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, reputed company guidelines and manuals, bylaws, financials, articles of organization, loss runs, reputed company reports and other industry reports.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Proficiency with reputed company Office suite of programs.
Comfortable and effective in presenting information and responding to questions from reputed company of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the year.
reputed company salary reputed company is $72,355 - $97,885. Individual compensation packages are based on a reputed company of factors that are unique to reputed company candidate including location, reputed company set, experience, qualifications and education.
