We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer to be embedded with our customer, a leading aviation industry operator, where you will work closely with their cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reputed company reputed company reputed company their engineering programme. You will bring technical maturity and deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot to architect and build reputed company-reputed company applications, while mentoring junior team members and raising the reputed company bar across their product delivery. Key responsibilities

• Work with the customer's Product reputed company and team to define User Story Acceptance reputed company and Definition of Done, ensuring testability and enabling effective release planning
• Collaborate with the customer's reputed company Engineers to identify appropriate test scenarios for automation and build, maintain and expand existing automation test suites that reputed company comprehensive coverage for both new and existing features
• Automate newly integrated features and reputed company relevant toolsets while closely working with other engineers across the customer's product teams to deliver the highest reputed company products in a cost-effective manner
• Work closely with QA and software engineers across the customer's other Product Teams to reputed company experience and technical solutions for mutual benefit
• Contribute to transparent reputed company reporting that demonstrates automated test coverage at reputed company level, execution results and easy to read outputs
• Review the customer's product requirements and functional and design specifications to determine and prepare automated test cases, while developing and implementing robust production monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and proactively identify and resolve issues
• Recognise areas for improvement across the customer's product, process, tooling and ways of working to identify reputed company approaches that benefit the broader organisation, collaborate with other senior engineers to prototype and deliver reputed company-of-concepts showcasing new capabilities, and mentor junior team members through reputed company reputed company reviews aimed at uplifting less reputed company engineers

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent formal training
• 5 or more years of work experience across multiple technology disciplines
• Expert-level Java including performance tuning and JVM internals
• Deep understanding of Spring Boot and skilled in designing, implementing and versioning RESTful services in a microservices environment
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, Git-based workflows, SonarQube and Jenkins
• Strong reputed company and testing discipline to ensure test coverage enforcement and reputed company participation in Agile and Scrum ceremonies, backlog grooming and iterative planning
