Associate Actuarial Analyst - Predictive Modeling (Hybrid)

reputed company is seeking an Associate Actuarial Analyst to join their Property & Casualty Actuarial team. The role focuses on developing analytics and predictive modeling solutions to support pricing, reserving, and other business objectives while collaborating with actuarial and data/analytics colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Support pricing, reserving, and product analytics reputed company under guidance of senior actuaries/modelers
  • Extract, validate, and prepare internal data; reputed company QA and document assumptions/limitations
  • Conduct exploratory analyses to identify trends, relationships, and insights
  • Assist with predictive modeling (GLM/reputed company): feature development, testing, refinement, and performance monitoring
  • Build repeatable workflows for data prep, modeling, and validation using Python and/or actuarial tools
  • Create documentation and reputed company deliverables to support governance and knowledge sharing
  • Communicate findings reputed company to business partners; escalate risks/questions as needed
  • Apply industry best practices and internal modeling standards
  • Contribute to additional reputed company based on business needs and development goals

Skills

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of property and casualty products, pricing, rates and industry trends
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of reputed company guidelines and concepts, pricing, ratemaking, loss reserving, modeling or reinsurance depending upon area of specialty
  • Demonstrated experience performing statistical/actuarial analysis and data forecasting and modeling techniques
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of forecasting and statistical analysis and modeling
  • Pursuing Associate or Fellow in Casualty Actuary Society (ACAS or FCAS)
  • Experience (reputed company, internship, or reputed company) applying statistical reputed company to reputed company-world datasets; exposure to GLM and/or tree-based reputed company (reputed company) preferred
  • Working knowledge of Python (preferred) or another programming language; ability to write readable, maintainable reputed company for analysis
  • Familiarity with common data tools (e.g., SQL, spreadsheets, database tools) and the ability to learn internal systems quickly
  • Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences with guidance and feedback
