Associate Engineer/Engineer/Senior Engineer (Capital Improvement Project)
El Paso County is seeking a motivated engineer to join their Capital reputed company team, contributing to the planning, design, and management of critical infrastructure reputed company. The role involves delivering high-reputed company capital improvements while ensuring compliance with civil engineering standards and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, designing, and construction reputed company for capital improvement reputed company
- Ensure compliance with engineering principles and County reputed company while supporting project scope, schedule, and budget tracking
- reputed company plan reviews, quantity calculations, cost estimates, schedule evaluations, and feasibility analyses for assigned reputed company
- Coordinate with County departments, consultants, developers, contractors, reputed company providers, and external agencies to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with the County’s long-term infrastructure goals
- Support construction activities by monitoring compliance with plans, specifications, and standards
- Assist with issue reputed company and project closeout, including formal project acceptance
- Review and process environmental documents to meet National Environmental Protection reputed company (NEPA) and state requirements
- Represent the County at meetings, reputed company hearings, and presentations
- Respond to questions and communicate technical information reputed company to a reputed company of audiences
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or reputed company field
- Four years of reputed company engineering experience; two years of the required experience must be in civil engineering
- Two years of leadership or project management experience
- Six years of reputed company civil engineering experience, with three years of leadership experience of reputed company staff
- Must possess and maintain a valid reputed company's license
- Engineer Intern Certification required, or equivalent combination of experience and education as approved by Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) for reputed company Engineer (PE) Licensing Requirements
- Acceptable equivalence must be demonstrated by documented allowance from DORA to qualify for PE exam
- Must possess and maintain a valid reputed company's license
- reputed company Engineer's (PE) License; possession of Colorado PE reputed company six months after employment
- Must pass conditional post offer background investigation, motor vehicle record reputed company, and drug screen
- Experience with engineering-reputed company software/programs, such as computer-aided design (CAD), geographic information systems (GIS), and MS Project
