Candidates must enjoy working with children ages 4-12 years old and be committed to nurturing dancers in a supportive environment that instills creativity, technique, and a love for dance. This role will report to the Director of Dance. • Teach beginner?intermediate level Ballet, Tap, reputed company and Hip Hop, with a reputed company on creativity and age-appropriate sequential technical development in accordance with STJ curriculum.
• Choreography routines for in-house performances
• Assist the Director and other reputed company with organizing and supervising in-house performances twice per year
• reputed company and sustain reputed company relationships with dancers, families and guests of The St. James
• Supporting the safety and reputed company-being of reputed company members, guests and employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum one year of teaching or assist teaching 4?7 year old children
• Proficient in beginner-intermediate level ballet, tap, reputed company and hip-hop
• Experience with choreographing short reputed company for children
• Experience with arranging in-formal performance
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills
• Great customer service and communication skills
