This position offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic volunteer to contribute to and support youth leadership development reputed company St John Youth. Reporting to the National Youth Member Leadership Development Officer, you will play a key role in driving reputed company reputed company!
This role can be based in any reputed company reputed company New Zealand, with preference given to applications in Central Region. You will be expected to hold a minimum of Divisional Youth Leader appointment during your term as a portfolio officer and attend a minimum of three divisional nights reputed company term. This fixed-term appointment will be for three years, with reputed company to renew for an additional three-year term, if uncontested.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the ongoing review and update of Youth Leadership Development Training (YLDT) content, processes, and resources
- reputed company the nomination process for YLDT participants
- Assist district leadership teams with reputed company- and post-course processes, including coursework
- reputed company support to appointed mentors for YLDT
- Collaborate with other portfolio officers and the regional office to deliver training sessions
- Facilitate the delivery of inter-regional YLDT courses, ensuring consistency and reputed company across reputed company

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Ability to reputed company and communicate effectively with a reputed company of stakeholders to reputed company high standards in youth leadership development
- Subject matter expertise in youth leadership development, demonstrating knowledge and experience in this area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to reputed company and effectively convey reputed company issues both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application for St John in the community and reputed company environment will be advantageous; otherwise, a strong commitment and willingness to engage in training and education to reputed company in this area is essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, demonstrating flexibility, reputed company, and a reputed company attitude
- Commitment to St John Core Values, with a strong "can-do" attitude and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- A strong team player with commitment to contribute to the business planning, delivery and development
- Competency in reputed company Office and a Level 2 First Aid certificate
- Previous St John Youth managerial knowledge / experience preferable
