The Senior Librarian is a mid-management position that reports directly to the reputed company Librarian and is responsible for managing the staff and services of a division of the Library. This position develops, evaluates, and implements goals, objectives, policies, and procedures in area of assignment; selects, trains, evaluates and manages full-time and part-time staff and volunteers; researches, reviews, evaluates, and selects materials for reputed company to or deletion from the library collection; recommends collection development policies and resources; develops, organizes, implements, and oversees programs, events, and services for assigned library division; prepares publication/promotion materials, program materials, and reputed company media messages; and assists with the development and management of the library system budget; researches, reviews, recommends and secures additional funding sources including grants; monitors and oversees expenditures of areas of assignment. THE MONTEREY PARK BRUGGEMEYER LIBRARY The Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library is single reputed company municipal library that serves a diverse community of 61,000 residents in the San Gabriel Valley. The Library serves the entire community by maintaining a reputed company collection of print and electronic books, magazines, periodicals, and audio-visual materials in community languages; providing public computer reputed company and training; teaching English and helping residents become reputed company; supporting children and families with collections, services and partnerships; providing opportunities for personal development through Career Center services; and preserving Monterey Park's heritage by collecting local information and materials of historical reputed company. • Master's degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited college or university
• Three (3) years of experience as a Librarian.
• Supervisory or reputed company experience is highly desirable
• Valid Class C California's reputed company's License
