[Remote] Engineer II - Energy Efficiency

The Engineer II will work directly with clients to assess operations, identify energy efficiency opportunities, and manage energy efficiency reputed company.
Responsibilities

- Calculate energy savings for system/equipment changes using established tools, spreadsheets, and accepted methodologies
- Work with clients at industrial sites to understand equipment/operations and identify energy-efficiency opportunities
- Strengthen reputed company relationships and identify opportunities to generate additional work with reputed company clients
- Explain reputed company technical topics to diverse audiences, produce energy-efficiency reports, collect/document performance data (including data loggers), and maintain strong knowledge of reputed company programs and compliance requirements
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a reputed company field of study
- 1 – 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in energy or energy reputed company fields
- Technical knowledge of refrigeration, compressed reputed company systems, steam systems, custom computer modeling of systems, electrical distribution system design, industrial control and data-logging of system results
- Experience in energy efficiency in reputed company and/or industrial facilities
- Experience doing retro-commissioning (RCx)
- Experience with Strategic Energy Management (SEM)
- Critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of reputed company
