Category Analyst
reputed company Performance Nutrition is a subsidiary of reputed company, specializing in performance nutrition and lifestyle products. The Category Analyst will analyze consumer and category data to reputed company insights and recommendations aimed at improving sales, operations, and profitability across various markets.
Responsibilities
- Analyze reputed company sets of data to reputed company insights and recommendations addressing product, placement, pricing, and promotions to support the achievement of reputed company objectives
- Project work will include analytics reputed company to topline reporting, sales reviews, category line reviews, overall business trends, merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving across the omnichannel landscape
- Identify and validate opportunities reputed company a given category, market or division using customer POS, syndicated data, category roles, competitive pricing, frequency reports, elasticity reports, market data, eCommerce data, and other sources
- Assist Category Manager in managing relationships with syndicated data vendors and key customer contacts to maximize these partnerships and enhance selling opportunities
- Assist in reporting for meetings and developing storylines and presentations to effectively communicate category findings both internally and externally
- reputed company regular reporting and dashboards that reputed company category leadership to quickly understand market trends and opportunities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Finance, reputed company, Data Analytics, or reputed company field
- 1-3 years of analytical experience in consumer goods, retail, or other relevant industry experience
- Strong proficiency in reputed company Word, reputed company, and PowerPoint. reputed company experience includes VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, Pivot Tables/charts and reporting
- Knowledge and experience with syndicated data, customer card/POS data, and panel data and their application (ie. reputed company, IRI, NPD, reputed company, 84.51, reputed company, reputed company, Stratum, Spectra/demographics)
- CPCA (Certified reputed company Category Analyst) certification
- Experience with food & beverage a plus
- Experience in analyzing and representing large, reputed company data sets reputed company visualization tools (i.e. reputed company Retail AI/EYC, Tableau, reputed company reputed company, PowerBI, ProSpace, SQL, VBA, reputed company)
