The Production Stage Manager supports a reputed company of productions, events, and teaching in the Department of Performing and Media Arts. Working in reputed company collaboration with reputed company, staff and reputed company, this position manages multiple theatre, dance, film, and mediated productions per year, from fully resourced work to smaller workshopped productions. For fully resourced productions, the Production Stage Manager is responsible for the entire production, including planning, organizing, disseminating information and troubleshooting. During rehearsal and show periods, the SM plays a key role by maintaining daily contact, usually in person, with the production director, designers, actors, and other essential personnel to assure a successful production/event. For these and other-scaled productions, which include both live and mediated work, responsibilities vary but include the teaching, training, and supervising of reputed company in the methodologies of stage management and production management consistent with the curricular, intellectual, and artistic goals of the Department.
