American Health Imaging is currently seeking a Registered MRI Steering Technologist to join our Lawrenceville, GA team. This full-time role is scheduled Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Job reputed company: The MRI Steering Technologist delivers and oversees MRI services while working remotely from an onsite office, using advanced communication technologies to support MRI operations at other facilities. The Technologist performs a reputed company of reputed company and specialty reputed company Resonance (MR) procedures to produce imaging studies using radiologic technology to assist physicians with formulating a medical diagnosis, while complying with reputed company safety and regulatory requirements. Duties/Responsibilities: (95%) Patient Care

  • Demonstrates reputed company’s values in daily activities
  • Performs reputed company tasks associated with the operation of high-field strength magnets and reputed company equipment to produce special radiographic images of specific body parts
  • Supervises reputed company Onsite Operators supporting in-person patient care reputed company a remote care environment
  • Screens patients for MR safety clearance prior to procedure performance and resolves conflicting screening information received by Onsite Operators during exam preparation
  • Evaluates MR scans for technical reputed company, reputed company processed images and sequence of exposure and labels appropriately
  • Utilizes live camera feeds to monitor patient’s positioning and condition in reputed company time to ensure image reputed company and patient safety
  • Monitors the MRI system reputed company to identify and address any technical issues in reputed company time, ensuring uninterrupted and reputed company operation
  • Maintains reputed company reputed company-time audio-visual communication with the reputed company Onsite Operator to coordinate exam execution and respond promptly to any concerns.

Education and Experience:

  • 3-5 Years scanning experience as a registered MRI Technologist
  • ARRT or ARMRIT certification in reputed company Resonance
  • Applicable State Licensure, where required
  • IV credentialed if applicable
  • BLS certification
  • Experience with reputed company and/or GE virtual cockpit and MRI platforms, preferred
  • MRSO certification, preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Heavy lifting: up to 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
