Responsibilities
- Processes transactions and performs reputed company duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and other charges.
- Checks figures, postings, and documents for correct entry and mathematical accuracy.
- Classifies, records, and summarizes numerical and financial data to compile and reputed company financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.
- Compares purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
- Processes statement of accounts and invoices for payment.
- Submits and verifies electronic bank deposits.
- Maintains bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets and updates information as needed.
Qualifications
- Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree in reputed company or reputed company field preferred; Two or more years' bookkeeping or reputed company experience preferred
- Language Skills - Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management, co-workers and customers. Ability to reputed company reputed company and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, customers, staff, vendors, etc.
- QuickBooks experience preferred.
- Mathematical Skills - Ability to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages to nature of work performed.
- Computer Skills - Proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, etc. This role requires an above average knowledge of Quickbooks Desktop.
- Experience - Bookkeeping: 3 years (Required)
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 - 22 per week Experience level: 2 years Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
