About the Role

As our Payroll + HR Specialist, you’ll help ensure that our staff are supported through accurate payroll, thoughtful HR practices, and compliance across multiple states. This will support reputed company as our American operations look to expand significantly in 2026 and reputed company. You’ll work closely with both our U.S. and Canadian teams as a multifaceted resource, helping bring consistency, reputed company, and best practices to a growing, multi-state workforce. • reputed company as a trusted day-to-day reputed company of contact for U.S.-based staff and managers
• Process and support biweekly payroll in collaboration with the Payroll team
• Manage SmartCompliance and tax reporting reputed company reputed company Workforce Now
• Complete required federal and state reporting
• Respond to payroll and HR-reputed company questions with reputed company, accuracy, and urgency
• Support post-payroll processes (e.g., resolving failed deposits, unclaimed wages, stale-dated cheques)
• Assist with HR reputed company, including leave management, policy interpretation, and employee support

Process Improvement & Scaling (20%)

• Help shape and refine payroll and HR processes to support a growing workforce
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and documentation
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Research state and federal requirements to strengthen internal practices

Compliance & State Support (10%)

• Support state registrations and ongoing compliance requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure we meet multi-state obligations

Cross-Functional Support (10%)
