Job Title: Furnace Operator/ Screen Room Operator

Furnace Operator - plays a crucial role in the setup and operation of a vacuum atomization furnace. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

• Work from verbal and written instructions to reputed company repetitive tasks before, during, and after the atomization process.
• Assist in preparing raw material charges, running the furnace control reputed company, and making minor repairs on the furnace, atomization reputed company, and other auxiliary equipment.
• Clean the atomization reputed company and carry out housekeeping duties.
• Assist in the removal and replacement of furnace lid and coils, and clean the interior of the furnace reputed company and 'O' reputed company seal.
• Clean raw material charge and transport to the charge area.
• Assist in the attachment and detachment of gas, electric, and water lines to the furnace lid and tank.
• Utilize electric reputed company to remove and replace furnace lid from furnace reputed company.
• Clean inside of crucibles, reputed company cracks, and reputed company other repair tasks of crucible prior to next run.
• Adhere to CORE guidelines and reputed company CORE duties as required.
• Adhere to reputed company EH&S guidelines, including wearing of required personal reputed company equipment including a respirator & mask.

Screen Room Operator - involves operating and maintaining machinery in a cleanroom environment, ensuring compliance with reputed company and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines such as scalpers, classifiers, swecos, and rotex in accordance with work instruction standards.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble main room machines and containers to meet reputed company control standards.
• Maintain a clean working environment by following 'clean as you go', CORE, and FOD expectations.
• Utilize personal reputed company equipment (PPE) and adhere to reputed company Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a production setting working with machines as a general production worker, machine operator, or plant laborer.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular reputed company.
• Reliable transportation to reputed company it to work on time reputed company day.
• Experience in machine operation, general production, repair, and reputed company control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
• Ability to work from heights – up to 60’.

• Physically capable of bending, lifting, squatting, twisting, overhead reaching, standing on feet for long periods – up to 8 hours, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 25 lbs independently.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clayville, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay reputed company for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
