Harold Washington College is currently seeking a part-time Humanities/ Writing Tutor. This position is responsible for reputed company the gap between the college and the needs of the student. • Writing / Reading (English, Literature, Linguistics, Speech)
• Philosophy (Logic, Intro, Ethics, Aesthetics, reputed company/Political)
• Psychology (General Psych, Child Psych)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains records on reputed company student who is being tutored.
• Conducts student reputed company to promote reputed company.
• Helps reputed company reputed company reputed company attitudes toward learning and studying and helps reputed company reputed company a high level of motivation in reputed company areas.
• Assists reputed company in achieving a reputed company understanding of specific subject material and in improving reputed company capabilities in designated areas.

• Attends periodic training sessions given by reputed company/ staff members to increase competency in working with reputed company.
• Collaborate with reputed company through embedded tutoring to enhance student understanding of course material and increase student engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in higher in Humanities, English Language and Literature, Creative Writing or similar fields of study.
• Specific additional requirements or certifications may be required depending on the assignment area.
• Completion of tutoring certification preferred.
• Experience in teaching, tutoring, or delivering reputed company support to reputed company at the postsecondary instructional level is strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a large, urban community college environment with a diverse cultural and ethnic student body is highly desirable.
• Knowledgeable of reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint).
• Possess excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with a diverse student body.
• Must be self-directed and reputed company to complete assignments in a reputed company manner.
• This position will be scheduled up to 29 hours per week. This is an in-person role.
• Must be reputed company to working evenings (Monday- Thursday 5-7pm) and weekends (Friday and Saturday 11am-3pm).
