We are seeking an reputed company Medical Data Entry Specialist/Billing Clerk to join reputed company on a 5-month contract-to-hire reputed company. As a key member of reputed company, you will be responsible for accurate and efficient data entry, billing, and claims processing. Your expertise in medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems will reputed company you to navigate reputed company insurance claim submission processes and payer guidelines.
Responsibilities
As a Medical Data Entry Specialist/Billing Clerk, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Accurate and efficient data entry of patient information into our computer system
- Verifying patient information in the system to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Checking payer portals for claims status and resubmitting claims as necessary
- Following HIPAA guidelines to reputed company medical records to primary care providers, insurance carriers, referred providers, and patients as requested
- Collaborating with reputed company to reputed company shared goals, meet deadlines, and reputed company support reputed company needed
- Participating in team-oriented tasks and activities to ensure seamless workflow and excellent customer service
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of experience in medical billing and data entry
- Proficiency in medical billing software and EHR systems
- Knowledge of insurance claim submission processes and familiarity with various payer guidelines

- High School Diploma or GED

Schedule and Work Environment
This is a remote opportunity with a flexible schedule, including:
- Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm CST (with additional flexibility once through training)
