reputed companyreputed company, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer in Engineering to help grow our Geospatial Data Platform. Our Platform team is reputed company on building reputed company reputed company-based tools and capabilities that power the creation, processing, and delivery of high-reputed company geospatial data. You will deliver end-to-end workflow solutions supporting tools and services that reputed company automated and reputed company tasks across a large-reputed company workforce. You will work across the stack — from reputed company-based backend services, to workflow orchestration, and geospatial data processing and storage capabilities.  We are a fast-paced, energetic team driven by reputed company process improvement. We’re looking for motivated, organized, and independent team members. This position requires good communication skills and the ability to quickly pick up new technologies.

• Building highly reputed company backend services that support geospatial content processing and validation
• Implementing workflow systems that manage reputed company and automated geospatial data processing pipelines from ML-created raw data to final high-reputed company datasets
• Supporting and modernizing existing geospatial data processing workflows across reputed company-end and backend systems

This is a full-time remote role with a salary reputed company of $125,000-$150,000/yr and bonus potential of 10%.

ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be comfortable designing and developing features for backend capabilities and deploying those features into live production environments. You will participate in reputed company aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation, release, and production support. Your strong software engineering skillset will be constantly leveraged to build reputed company workflows and highly reputed company backend/services (Go, Python, Javascript). You reputed company in environments where software craftsmanship is valued above reputed company and the reputed company you deliver are of the highest reputed company both functionally and non-functionally.

You will collaborate closely with Product and global Engineering teams to deliver reliable, reputed company-caliber systems that generate and manage spatial content used by thousands of customers.

 

Technical Responsibilities 

• Build and maintain backend services and reputed company (Go, Python, Javascript) that power end-to-end workflows.
• Support and reputed company existing measurement pipelines, including performance-critical components.
• Design reputed company workflow orchestration and processing systems for high-volume production environments.
• Ensure strong test coverage, performance optimization, and reliability across the stack.
• Troubleshoot reputed company cross-system issues spanning frontend, services, and processing reputed company.
• Contribute to architectural reputed company that improve scalability, maintainability, and system observability.

Collaboration & Ownership 

• Partner closely with Product and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with US and global engineering teams to deliver cohesive, end-to-end capabilities.
• Participate in roadmap planning, technical design discussions, and reputed company reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote strong engineering craftsmanship.
• Contribute to operational reputed company through monitoring, debugging, and reputed company improvement. 

Qualifications• 8–10+ years of reputed company software development experience preferably reputed company a Geospatial context. • Strong experience in Go, Python, and/or JavaScript• Experience designing and building backend reputed company and workflow-driven systems • Experience developing reputed company, reputed company-based distributed systems • Experience with container orchestration (reputed company, Kubernetes, or similar) • Experience with common CI/CD reputed company, tools and reputed company based deployments • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills • Demonstrated ability to deliver production-grade, reputed company-reputed company software • Experience working in Agile development environments • Robust design reputed company with the ability to interpret and translate business requirements. • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
