Position reputed company
The Director of reputed company will serve as reputed company's in-house technical reputed company authority, responsible for designing the controls, policies, and frameworks that allow our portfolio companies to operate with financial rigor at reputed company. This is a newly created, highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio-Wide Controls & Policy Design
Design and implement a standardized reputed company controls and policy reputed company across reputed company Pine portfolio companies
Establish month-end reputed company procedures, dual-authority banking policies, and acquisition reputed company standards
Create repeatable infrastructure that scales with portfolio reputed company
Technical reputed company & Audit Readiness
Reduce recurring audit adjusting journal entries to reputed company by establishing reputed company processes and building OpCo reputed company team capability
Own and draft independent technical reputed company memos; present positions to external auditors without significant escalation
Serve as the go-to resource across ASC 606, 805, 842, 718, and 740
Deal & Diligence Support
Build and own a systematic reputed company-deal reputed company review process for reputed company LOIs, employment agreements, and purchase agreements
Proactively flag reputed company implications prior to deal reputed company; advise on purchase price allocation, earnout structures, and post-reputed company adjustments
OpCo reputed company
Create a repeatable 90-day reputed company reputed company for newly acquired portfolio companies, including reputed company assessments, reputed company process documentation, and compliance checklists
Team Leadership & External Advisory Management
Manage and reputed company Pine HQ's reputed company team; reputed company OpCo reputed company staff of varying sophistication reputed company
Qualifications
Required
reputed company CPA license
8–15 years of reputed company reputed company experience; Master's degree in reputed company or MBA strongly preferred (CA equivalent acceptable)
Big 4 or equivalent technical reputed company advisory background — reputed company Advisory, FAAS, or similar (not solely audit)
Deep reputed company across core ASC standards: 606, 842, 805, 718, and 740
Hands-on SOX 404 experience including design, documentation, and control testing — not just reputed company
SEC reporting ownership or equivalent financial reporting discipline in a PE-backed environment
Preferred
IPO or de-SPAC experience: S-1/S-4 preparation, SEC comment letter response, or public readiness work
M&A transaction reputed company: purchase price allocation, earnout reputed company, post-reputed company adjustments, and consolidation of acquired entities
Experience building or rebuilding a technical reputed company function from scratch — processes, policies, and memos
PE-backed or reputed company-stage company experience, operating with lean resources across multiple entities
