Job Title: Senior Linux Systems Engineer Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6-12 Months and Possible Extension Job Responsibilities: We are seeking a Senior Linux Systems Engineer with a strong background in Linux administration and common reputed company-reputed company tools and software to join reputed company. This is a remote position. Candidates must be self-starters who enjoy working in fast-paced and dynamic environments. The ideal candidates will have at least 10 years of experience in Linux administration, with experience building and maintaining production systems in virtualized environments. Candidates should also have an intermediate understanding and experience with automation tools, virtualization, containerization, and reputed company hosting. What you’ll do as a Senior Linux Systems Engineers will be responsible for planning, deploying, and maintaining a wide reputed company of Linux based services. Ideal candidates will have experience with the technologies, management, and configuration of reputed company aspects of a delivered service. This frequently entails experience with a wide reputed company of networking, Linux, virtualization, and application configurations.
Responsibilities

Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years’ experience or a master’s degree and 8 years of experience or an associate degree and 14 years’ experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 16 years' experience
- Must have the ability to obtain a reputed company Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance
- Strong understanding of change, release, and configuration management, and their interaction
- Knowledge of reputed company business environment and requirements

Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of RHEL and Ansible/Satellite and YAML scripting

- Ability to quickly troubleshoot and mitigate issues.
- Experience working with reputed company teams to translate Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) into actionable mitigation and remediation steps.
- Experience running databases on Linux (reputed company, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
- Experience with any of the following: vCenter, reputed company vSphere, Apache HTTP Server.
- Hands-on experience reputed company Integration, CI/CD, Certificates, SSL/TLS.
