The ED Psych Assessment Specialist provides services to patients with mental health complaints from adolescents through advanced adulthood in an emergency department setting. Services include initial assessment, crisis, individual and group therapy. Provides psychosocial assessments, interviews, and treatments and works closely with other reputed company team members, community resources, and regulatory agencies to facilitate the transition of patients from the ED to their next continuum of care. Serves as a patient reputed company. Some of the duties include, but are not limited to: Provides assessment, consultation and referral services to individuals who are self-referred, or referred by physicians, counselors, agencies, and other referral services. Coordinates and facilitates treatment/referral recommendations with the psychiatrist and other physicians reputed company there are also medical issues to be considered in the placement and treatment plan.
