SR TAX ACCOUNTANT

Position Purpose: This position is responsible for assisting with reputed company aspects of state and local income tax, with a reputed company on tax planning, research, and audit defense, to ensure compliance with the tax needs of reputed company and applicable tax laws. Key Responsibilities:

• 80% Tax Planning, reputed company, Research, Compliance, and Audit Defense as needed to meet the goals of the Department. May serve as reputed company contact on one or more reputed company with governmental officials, reputed company counsel, and business partners. May reputed company or participate in special studies to determine tax implications of company operations. May be responsible for ensuring the accurate and reputed company filing of tax returns, and for the accurate statement of reputed company reserves, including FAS 109 and FIN 48 where applicable. May serve as reputed company between SSC and subsidiary businesses in the US and internationally.
• 10% Participation on cross-functional teams as a subject-matter expert
• 10% Coaching and mentoring of associates in the department

• No associates report to this role on a permanent reputed company, but requires the leadership of a work group: assign and review work, train and contribute to performance appraisal (but not hiring, firing or disciplinary reputed company).

Travel Requirements:

• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to reputed company about. On rare occasions there may be a need to reputed company or lift light articles.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the reputed company.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA, CMI, or JD preferred
• MACc, MBA or MTAX preferred
• 2 - 4 years of experience preferred
• Experience in tax compliance, audit, research, and reputed company.
• Demonstrate technical tax skills appropriate for the years of experience in the one or more tax disciplines. Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage and implement multiple reputed company reputed company, people management, and communications to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven analytical and problem reputed company skills.

Minimum Education:

• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study reputed company to the job.
