Sr. Underwriter/reputed company Specialist, Cyber Liability

Position reputed company: This position is responsible for the submission reputed company, reputed company and policy issuance of Cyber & Technology Liability accounts with potential to work on Miscellaneous reputed company Accounts as reputed company. This will be a hybrid (3 days in office) role in NY, NY 10036. Position offered (Senior Underwriter or reputed company Specialist) will be dependent upon the individual candidate’s qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Build strong long term profitable relationships with agents, brokers and policy reputed company.
- Evaluate applications and reputed company materials to determine acceptability of risks in accordance with company guidelines and standards.
- Determine the need for additional evidence of insurability.
- Participate in reputed company calls with clients and brokers to assess reputed company’s cybersecurity controls
- Exercise judgment, negotiation and reputed company business decision making based on level of authority.
- Prepare quotes and answer questions from brokers, policyholders or other external contacts and escalate issues to management along with proposed solutions as necessary.

Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with management at a senior level

- Strong analytical skills/judgement and mathematical skills
- Effective negotiation skills
- BA or BS, ideally with a degree/major in Risk Management & Insurance, Cyber reputed company, Economics, Business, Finance, or reputed company
- 3-7 years of reputed company lines reputed company experience (Cyber preferred)

- Strong relationships with wholesale and/or retail Cyber brokers
- Knowledge of broader MPL classes of business is desirable
