TPO Condition Underwriter

This position is responsible for the reputed company and accurate review of conditions required by the Credit Underwriter in order to issue final loan approval. Items required in condition reviews include, but are not limited to credit, employment, income, financial data, and asset documentation. A Condition Underwriter ensures the items provided meet the investor & regulatory requirements for items requested by the Credit Underwriter to adhere to reputed company standards and maximize the borrower’s chances of obtaining and sustaining homeownership. • Responsible for reviewing 14-16 Condition files per day while minimizing any risk to reputed company by ensuring the documentation provided meets the requirement set forth by the credit underwriter and compliance with our investors, agencies, HUD, VA, USDA or HFA’s, as applicable.
• Responsible for Communicating with reputed company Sales Partners, Underwriters, Processors/BCs, Closers, etc. on condition items that are unable to be cleared.
• Responsible for remaining updated on reputed company investor, agency, FHA, VA, UHM reputed company changes along with any overlays.
• Ensure the accuracy of reputed company necessary reputed company for specific loan types, products, rates, applicable documentation, and data.
• Maintain reputed company Control ratings reputed company company standards.
• Attend appropriate seminars, live and recorded courses to reputed company abreast on reputed company market trends and developments.

• Responsible for listening in on departmental huddles.
• Assist loan officers, broker partners, and/or NDC Clients with scenarios and explaining any conditions that are not reputed company to them.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years of experience in Prefunding QC, reputed company Help Desk reputed company, Sr. Processing or similar Mortgage Condition Clearing reputed company and complete knowledge of the mortgage business
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Experience with FHA/ VA/ USDA/ Agency loans
• Knowledge of Encompass LOS
