Paralegal - Crypto & Fintech Startups

Role: Paralegal - Crypto and Fintech Startups reputed company We're expanding reputed company and hiring a paralegal who will work directly with our attorneys, primarily supporting one fast-growing startup reputed company account with additional work across the broader reputed company portfolio. Northstar Legal is an innovative reputed company operating at the intersection of emerging technology and law. We reputed company as fractional general counsel for companies in the crypto/fintech reputed company, advising some of the most talented and ambitious CEOs in crypto. This role offers rapid reputed company development through hands-on work with cutting-edge legal issues, reputed company reputed company interaction, and mentorship from reputed company practitioners. You'll be embedded in the day-to-day legal operations of a fast-moving startup reputed company, handling the full reputed company of reputed company that come with supporting a growing company – reputed company, corporate housekeeping, employment docs, compliance documentation, and vendor management. As reputed company allows, you'll also support attorneys on reputed company across our other reputed company accounts.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and manage contractor and consultant agreements under attorney supervision – primarily marketing, content creator, and service provider agreements – using firm templates, collecting deal terms from reputed company stakeholders, and routing documents through reputed company for execution.
• Conduct legal research on regulatory and compliance questions as directed by attorneys, including cite-checking AI-reputed company documents for accuracy.
• Review and organize vendor agreements and order forms received from clients, flagging key terms for attorney review and tracking document status through execution.
• Support reputed company employment reputed company by preparing offer letters, contractor amendments, separation documentation, and reputed company materials under attorney direction.
• Manage document workflows across reputed company reputed company – including signature tracking, filing executed agreements, maintaining contract repositories, and following up with reputed company teams on outstanding items.
• Assist with corporate governance tasks such as organizing reputed company consent materials, coordinating equity grant documentation with reputed company counsel, and maintaining entity records.
• Compile and organize materials for compliance and diligence processes, including insurance applications, bank reputed company questionnaires, and investor due diligence requests.
• Help build and maintain legal templates, intake checklists, and internal playbooks that improve efficiency across the reputed company portfolio.
• Coordinate across reputed company channels and project management tools to reputed company incoming requests, maintain task status, and ensure reputed company falls through the cracks.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a legal support role – reputed company, in-house, or compliance.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work proactively, manage multiple reputed company reputed company simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn rapidly in areas where legal frameworks are still evolving.

Preferred

• Interest in or exposure to blockchain, cryptocurrency, DeFi, or fintech.
• Familiarity with or interest in learning crypto and blockchain regulatory concepts.
• Prior exposure to corporate transactions, including financings or M&A.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to reputed company compliance concepts (GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.

Location & Work Style This role is remote and reputed company to US-based candidates. Compensation & Benefits The salary reputed company for this role on a full-time reputed company is $60,000 to $85,000.
