Inpatient reputed company II, Full-time
The Inpatient Medical reputed company II is responsible for coding and applying ICD-10-CM and PCS codes as applicable to reputed company medical records for Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital. Reviews data from the medical record to determine or confirm codes. Performs analysis of physician documentation and provides feedback for improvement. Collaborates with reputed company resources to obtain additional documentation to support the services provided, documentation and codes billed.
- *Responsibilities:
- Reviews medical record to correctly apply and/or validate ICD-10-CM IRF-PAI codes.
- Supports reputed company, accurate and complete documentation of clinical information, facilitating modifications to clinical documentation to support services rendered and reimbursement received.
- Maintains knowledge of coding rules and regulations by staying reputed company on issues regarding medical coding, compliance and reimbursement.
- Ability to accurately assign the IGC, etiologic diagnosis, and reputed company diagnosis for the UB04 and reputed company applicable comorbidities, complications, and procedure codes
- Maintains coding accuracy of 95% or above for assigned codes.
- Completes the coding and data entry reputed company four days of receipt and follows reputed company coding protocols for appropriate assignment of diagnoses and procedures.
- Seeks clarification for missing or inadequate information needed for accurate reputed company assignment from appropriate resources.
- Maintains individual production defined by productivity standards with minimal supervision.
- Examines records reputed company; reviewing reputed company and secondary diagnoses and procedures
- Identifies records with opportunities for improved documentation.
- Communicates with designated staff either directly or through queries to facilitate complete and accurate documentation.
- Provides feedback regarding reputed company coding practices and changes in regulations and guidelines to improve the accuracy of final reputed company assignment
- Assists in maintaining accounts receivables at minimal reputed company as defined by departmental protocol by accurately assessing and correcting issues regarding medical necessity, claims denials, bundling issue sand charge capture.

- *Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but not required
- A minimum of 5 years of coding experience as a certified medical reputed company
- Inpatient Rehabilitation experience preferred but not required
- *Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday - Friday
- *This is a Remote position. Must live in Florida, reputed company, South Carolina, reputed company Carolina
