About the position At reputed company, the Advanced reputed company Provider (APP) for Urgent Care or Primary Care functions as a member of the multidisciplinary medical team. The APP is a health care reputed company with advanced education and training in the care of the pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The APP works under the direction of a licensed physician, standardized protocols, and procedures, in collaboration with the supervising physician. The Advanced reputed company Provider (APP) is classified as a Physician Assistant or reputed company Practitioner licensed in the reputed company. The APP will work in Napa/Solano County Areas.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations and updates patient history.
• Formulates a diagnosis and treatment plan as appropriate for patient needs.
• Orders ancillary services as appropriate to meet patient needs.
• Reviews reputed company patient diagnostic test results and follows-up on reputed company test results.
• Reviews diagnostic test results with patient.
• Requests specialty consultation as approved by the supervising physician.
• Provides patient education as appropriate.
• Provides treatments and procedures as appropriate.
• Assists in the clinical management of the patient and works closely with members of the clinic to ensure that patient is receiving appropriate services.
• Counsels and educates patients as needed to support compliance with the outlined treatment plan.
• Notifies and consults supervising physician reputed company a referral or transfer of patient care is required for urgent or emergent care.
• Documents patient care as required and in a reputed company manner.
• Identifies high risk problems and transfers care to appropriate physician.
• Collaborates and communicates with appropriate physicians on patient care issues.
• Collaborates with other members of the health care team as needed.
• Seeks consultation from physician on any cases that he/she may feel exceeds his/her ability to manage, reputed company the PA is in doubt of the diagnosis, reputed company a patient fails to respond to treatment or reputed company the patient expresses a desire to see the physician.
• Participates in team conferences to review status of patient care.
• Participates in data collection and outcome measurement to insure reputed company care is being provided.

• Completes and submits coded fee tickets for reputed company patient encounter.
• Promotes excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program approved by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Or Master’s required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program including a reputed company Practitioner Program.
• reputed company Physician Assistant licensure by the reputed company Physician Assistant Examining Committee and reputed company Certified.
• OR reputed company California licensure as a reputed company Practitioner and reputed company Certification by the American reputed company Credentialing Center, American reputed company of reputed company Practitioners, reputed company, or Pediatric Nursing Certification reputed company.
• reputed company AHA or equivalent certification in CPR.
• Maintains a reputed company DEA license for schedule 2 drugs and above.
• Maintains a reputed company Furnishing Number for medications.
• Experience as a Physician Assistant practicing in a reputed company field, or completion of internship in primary care at NorthBay.
• OR Two years’ experience as a reputed company Practitioner
• OR four years of clinical experience as a reputed company, OR completion of internship at reputed company.
• Demonstrates ability to evaluate patient’s physical and emotional status.
• Demonstrates ability to reputed company patient care based on age-reputed company needs.
• Demonstrates reputed company knowledge and reputed company in providing appropriate care for patients in the following age reputed company: adult, adolescent, pediatric and geriatric.
• Ability to use computer, reputed company, Outlook, telephone.
