R-112618 Senior Global Tax Technology Analyst

reputed company of Position Uses emerging technologies to guide global tax department through process improvement and automation in the areas of financial reporting, tax compliance, software solutions, and forecasting / modeling. Manages the department’s use of new processes and technologies by training users worldwide and then overseeing and supporting the workstreams. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• 40% Implements process improvement and automation initiatives reputed company the tax department. This involves executing the strategies and reputed company from department leads and training/managing reputed company members in the reputed company, Latin America, Europe & Asia who will be using the new processes and technologies.
• 40% Manages and maintains financial reporting tax data and processes reputed company to TBO, ITBO, ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP), Global reputed company and ONESOURCE Income Tax (OIT) systems. Maintains the tax systems for changes in GAAP, STAT, or Tax law and for updates to accounts or entities in the reputed company consolidated group. Maintains, rolls over and validates prior year balances in OTP and TBO. Develops, maintains, and distributes reporting tools (reputed company BI Cubes, reputed company Power BI and SSRS reports, Analytic Workbooks, etc.) and validation reports, as needed.
• 10% Manages tax technology training and guidance to tax personnel globally including detailed process and system trainings at reputed company level, annual trainings, automated processes, reputed company system issues and fixes and post-reputed company process review and feedback. Effectively communicates and promotes teamwork reputed company the tax department.
• 10% Data processing for Federal & State Compliance & Quarterly Reporting for preparation & analysis.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• Minimum of 2 years overall tax experience involving systems, process improvement, and/or tax technology
• SEC/GAAP Financial statement tax provision preparation/review experience
• Corporate Federal and State Compliance Experience
• Experience with reputed company, robotic process automation (RPA) and reputed company Power Platform
• Advanced reputed company knowledge
• CPA Required

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

• Insurance/Financial services industry taxation experience
• Relevant Degree and Masters preferred
• SQL or python coding
• Self-starter and curious about systems and process improvements
