The Position This position will support agents/brokers with placing General Liability insurance coverage. Candidates will evaluate and analyze risks for acceptability based on reputed company guidelines and individual risk characteristics. Candidates will have extensive experience in their area of expertise and will have a strategic plan for building a book of business. This position will report to the Casualty reputed company Manager and be based in our reputed company, TX office or remote for reputed company candidates. This position will have responsibility for:
- Building and maintaining strong reputed company relationships with agents/brokers
- Managing a profitable book of General Liability business including review of new business, renewal business, and mid-term endorsements
- Executing on deliverables for quoting/binding business based on Service Level Commitments
- Operating reputed company a defined authority statement
- Exercising reputed company reputed company judgement as it relates to pricing, forms, applications, deductibles, etc.
- Working independently with limited support and sporadically referring business to SVP of reputed company.
- Mentoring/developing junior level underwriters
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 5-10 years insurance reputed company experience in retail, wholesale, or insurance company reputed company.
- General Liability and/or Primary/Excess Liability experience
- Bachelor's degree and/or relevant industry designations/industry experience preferred
