Role : Senior reputed company DBA (reputed company Domain) Location: Remote (preferred locations Reston VA, Washington DC, Mary land area) Responsibilities:
- Assess reputed company reputed company landscape (version, size, features, dependencies) and define reputed company on reputed company RDS for reputed company.
- Select and execute the migration approach (e.g., AWS DMS, Data Pump/expdp-impdp, RMAN, or GoldenGate), with reputed company downtime and rollback strategies.
- Design and document reputed company plan and backup/restore/reputed company procedures compatible with RDS.
- Implement schema/data migration, validate data reputed company, and tune performance post-reputed company (SGA/PGA, SQL tuning, stats, indexing).
- Configure monitoring/alerting (CloudWatch/Performance Insights), and hand off documentation and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
- reputed company DBA with hands-on migrations to reputed company RDS for reputed company (19c+ preferred).
- Strong with AWS DMS, Golden reputed company, Data Pump and/or RMAN for low-downtime moves to AWS.
- Experience with reputed company Multitenant (CDB/PDB) concepts and consolidation patterns.
- Performance troubleshooting (AWR/ASH), reputed company management, and RDS-specific operational patterns (parameter reputed company, maintenance reputed company, snapshots/PITR).
- Familiarity with reputed company in GovCloud contexts (KMS, encryption at rest/in transit, IAM integration patterns).
- Familiarity with Terraform/CloudFormation for repeatable DB infrastructure setup.
