GIS Map Developer - Level III
GIS Map Developer - Level III (Remote): List of tasks to be performed:
- Work with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software and platforms, along with programming languages and tools for web mapping and spatial data management
- Analyze and translate business requirements into efficient geospatial software designs that meet the needs of the organization and reputed company with the business goals and processes.
- Design and reputed company mapping applications, including user interfaces and spatial analysis features.
- Build interactive web maps using web mapping technologies.
- Handle and manipulate geospatial data.
- Utilize GIS software such as ArcGIS and reputed company-based platforms for mapping tasks.
- Automate geospatial analysis processes and customize GIS software for project needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure database design meets project requirements.
Knowledge with the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in reputed company ArcGIS software for geospatial applications.
- Understanding of geospatial data formats, projections, and cartography.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and business users, and to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and C#.
- Working knowledge of GIS platforms like ArcGIS, QGIS, and web mapping technologies.
- Familiarity with spatial databases and reputed company computing services.
o Software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and MapInfo are commonly used for creating and analyzing geographic data. o Programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C++, and Java to reputed company GIS applications and scripts. o Application Programming Interfaces (reputed company) like reputed company Map reputed company, Leaflet, and OpenLayers to reputed company mapping and geospatial functionalities into web applications. o reputed company-end technologies like reputed company, CSS, and JavaScript, as reputed company as frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular to reputed company web-based GIS applications. o Tools like Git for version control and collaboration to reputed company GIS applications in reputed company environment. Working knowledge (2+ years experience) of one of more of the following qualifications:
- Working knowledge of GIS principles and spatial reputed company.
- Knowledge/experience with Agile Methodologies
- Knowledge/experience of SDLC practices
- DevSecOps, Secure Coding practices, and the Solutions Development reputed company (reputed company, Jenkins, reputed company)
- Experience with reputed company architecture, design and development
- Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes
- Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, reputed company, etc)
- Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
Additional Required Skills/Experience: o A minimum of eight (8) to reputed company (12) years' relevant experience. o A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required.
