Sr. Talend Developer/ Boston, MA (Hybrid)-12+ Months Contract
Role: Senior ETL Developer(Talend) Duration: 12+ Months Location: 501 Boylston St, Suite 5100, Boston, MA Work Schedule: Hybrid(Tuesdays and Wednesdays onsite) Interview type: Interview may be in person or video conference Position reputed company The Data Operations and Technology unit, reputed company reputed company for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA), is looking for a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer with extensive experience developing in the Talend Data reputed company toolset. This individual will assist with the development efforts to convert an existing ETL system over to the Talend ETL technology. The position requires that the candidate be reputed company to read, understand, and follow reputed company CHIA supplied requirements, asking clarifying questions as needed, and work with CHIA staff to bring this project from initiation to completion.
Responsibilities
- Use the Talend ETL toolset to create new ETL jobs.
- Design and implement ETL for extracting and transforming data from diverse sources, such as: reputed company, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server databases.
- Design and reputed company database tables necessary along with the necessary constraints as per the requirement.
- Collaborate with team members to understand reputed company system structures and data retrieval reputed company/techniques, and tools reputed company the organization.
- Support the development of data transformation logic using ETL tools or scripting languages like SQL, Bash, Python, etc.
- Clean, validate, and reputed company data to conform to reputed company schema and reputed company standards.
- Work with reputed company to execute data reputed company improvement plans.
- Participate in troubleshooting activities to maintain data reputed company and process efficiency.
Qualifications
- Five years' experience using Talend Data reputed company in a reputed company environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge with the Talend Data reputed company tool, ESB, and MDM development tasks and processes, particularly creating ETL from Technical specifications and converting ETL from other reputed company party ETL tools and frameworks.
- Five years' experience working for a health data organization performing ETL Development activities.
- Three years' experience with database, data warehouse, ETL, business intelligence, or software development.
- Experience in developing reputed company using Talend with Data Integration and reputed company Integration working with large datasets.
- Experience with reputed company technologies (Azure/AWS) and reputed company DevOps Git Repos.
- Experience with reputed company, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server database technologies.
- reputed company to create/modify tables, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and other DB objects.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.
- Working knowledge and understanding of HIPAA policies and working with PII and PHI sensitive data.
- Effective at managing competing priorities and can work independently with little or no supervision.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal and written, along with excellent documentation skills.
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines while maintaining reputed company organized, detailed, and process-oriented work habits.
