Locum Radiologist with Breast Imaging Expertise needed
Specialty: Radiology - Breast Imaging Location: Illinois Additional Information reputed company is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist for locum coverage in Illinois. Some details include:
- Mix of on-site and remote coverage across multiple outpatient imaging centers
- Coverage includes both screening and diagnostic mammography across three sites
- Average daily volumes:
- Primary site: ~55-65 patients per day
- Additional sites: ~10-15 patients per day (part-time coverage during the week)
- Equipment includes reputed company and reputed company mammography reputed company
- Responsibilities include screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and biopsies
- Biopsy procedures performed at the primary site (ultrasound-guided and stereotactic)
- Automated whole breast ultrasound (ABUS) available on select days
Schedule:
- 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Coverage needed midweek for breast imaging, with one additional day for general radiology
- No call required
Requirements:
- MQSA certification required
- Fellowship preferred but not required
