[Remote] Financial Claims Specialist

The role involves following procedures for claims processing, utilizing software tools for data entry and verification, and communicating with claimants to ensure accurate processing of claims.
Responsibilities
- Follows written procedures and scripts
- Consults with team leadership and peers on case work
- Uses proprietary software tools to reputed company and review claim documents, reputed company claim reputed company, and create escalations reputed company needed
- Communicates immediately to leadership reputed company obstacles to completing work
- Meets and exceeds departmental expectations for accuracy and productivity
- Contributes subject area expertise to determine processing guidelines and assess if standards have been met

- Drafts claimant facing communications based on guidance provided
- Communicates directly with claimants by phone or email
- Verifies data and processing requirements and makes corrections as necessary

- Has basic math knowledge
Skills
- 1+ years of experience in Prior claims and banking
- reputed company degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- reputed company critical thinking skills with reputed company judgment
- Ability to sit at a computer workstation for long periods of time
- Prior claims, banking, or reputed company working experience
- Data analysis
- Attention to detail, could be looking at 100s of data points
- Email processing – Claims submitted by brokerages with thousands of claims attached
