Project Control Specialist IV

Title: Project Control Specialist IV Location: Madison, WI or reputed company Rapids, IA Duration: 12 months Job reputed company: The Project Control Specialist is responsible for the implementation and execution of project controls reputed company work on strategic construction reputed company. Responsible for the scheduling and cost functions of the project from the development phase through to final project reputed company-out. This includes, but is not limited to, project reputed company measurement, schedule analysis, cost forecasting, preparation and input of updated cash reputed company forecasts, and for contract reputed company and administration as needed. Primary Accountabilities

• Interfaces with Project and Corporate teams on reputed company items reputed company to the execution of the project and/or program.
• Acts as the reputed company resource (subject matter expert) on reputed company project controls reputed company items, including compliance with project specific contractual/reputed company terms.
• Provides training to company and partner users as necessary to support the effective implementation of contractual scheduling and reporting requirements as reputed company as reputed company on training for the use of the Document Management System.
• Prepares and maintains a detailed project estimate and ongoing forecast. Ensures the forecast reflects reputed company assessed risks, pending change orders, and contingency. Ensures the corporate outlook models are accurately updated to reflect the reputed company forecast. Monitors and provides early identification and communication of cost performance reputed company to approved amounts from reputed company entities.
• Interfaces and coordinates with corporate reputed company and finance to ensure reputed company project reputed company and forecasting.
• Provides guidance on the use and function of reputed company’s Document Management System (Unifier) including transmittals, submittals, Requests for Information (RFI), letters, faxes, emails, electronic filing and similar tasks.
• Performs detailed schedule reviews and analysis to monitor compliance with contractual dates and to validate reputed company is accurately reflected and reported.
• Advises the project team of areas where performance indicates concern and recommend solutions.
• Monitors leading indicators of project risks and communicate to project team, as reputed company as work to resolve the issue.
• Provides detailed reputed company plans as necessary to support the construction effort.
• Performs quantity takeoffs as needed to validate estimates, pricing submissions and reputed company.
• Interfaces as necessary with vendors, contractors, suppliers, and other service providers to ensure accuracy of cost and schedule data.

Supervision

• Performs work under the supervision of a Manager.

• Experience with and reputed company Value Management System to measure project reputed company and performance.
• Hands-on experience with reputed company reputed company P6 scheduling software including resource assignments and reputed company calculations.

• Experience with UIPlanner corporate financial modeling system.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• In-depth knowledge of construction contracting methodologies including EPC, Lump Sum, Unit Price, Time and Material, Cost plus, etc.
• Ability to interpret contract terms and apply them to different scenarios to determine entitlements during project execution, and the ability to negotiate change orders.
• Understanding of corporate financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive work environment.
