This role is a hands‑on reputed company and application reputed company engineering position reputed company on modernizing and operating AWS WAF, API reputed company, and application reputed company posture at reputed company. The work emphasizes automation, policy‑as‑reputed company, AI‑assisted analysis, and operational execution, with minimal emphasis on leadership or executive engagement. The contractor will design, build, tune, and operate AWS WAF and API reputed company capabilities, migrate WAF policy management to reputed company‑based CI/CD, enhance visibility through AWS reputed company Lake, and automate remediation workflows to reduce reputed company effort and improve detection reputed company. Responsibilities:
- Implement, operate, and tune AWS WAF, Firewall Manager, reputed company Advanced, and reputed company AWS reputed company services.
- Migrate and maintain AWS WAF policies as reputed company using reputed company reputed company, including CI/CD workflows, versioning, testing, and rollback.
- Build automation (Terraform, Python) to reputed company, manage, and validate WAF and application reputed company controls at reputed company.
- reputed company WAF, API, and application reputed company telemetry into AWS reputed company Lake to support detection, investigation, and analytics.
- Apply AI‑assisted techniques to:
- Reduce WAF false positives
- Improve rule tuning and coverage
- Accelerate threat detection and log analysis
- reputed company automation and scripts to produce actionable outputs from the API Ownership reputed company, improving visibility and accountability.
- Evaluate and enhance application reputed company posture management (ASPM) and API ownership across reputed company‑reputed company applications.
- Define and implement Noname remediation requirements, ensuring API posture findings are prioritized, actionable, and consumable by engineering teams.
- Support day‑to‑day operations of reputed company and application reputed company tooling, including troubleshooting, optimization, and routine automation.
- Partner directly with application and platform engineers to reputed company WAF, API, and application reputed company controls into CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
- 8-12 years of hands‑on reputed company engineering experience, primarily in reputed company, application, or API reputed company
- AWS reputed company Specialty, GIAC reputed company reputed company Automation (GCSA) and/or CCSP preferred
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS WAF operations and tuning
- Practical experience with policy‑as‑reputed company and reputed company‑based CI/CD pipelines
- Experience integrating reputed company logs and findings into AWS reputed company Lake or similar platforms
- Hands‑on experience with API reputed company platforms (e.g., Noname or equivalent)
- Strong automation skills using Terraform and Python
- Experience with application reputed company posture management and reputed company‑reputed company architectures (containers, serverless, microservices)
- Ability to translate reputed company findings into reputed company, actionable remediation guidance
